Kite Camp with Jamie Overbeek on Lake Garda

Jamie Overbeek is one of the most exciting names in modern kitesurfing and the current world record holder in Big Air, known for pushing the limits of what’s possible on the water.

Originally from the Netherlands, Jamie has quickly risen through the ranks of the global kitesurfing scene, combining technical skill, fearless riding, and a passion for progression.

On our kite safari, Jamie will be sharing his experience through coaching sessions, tips on and off the water, and riding alongside guests — helping you improve your skills and take your kiting to the next level.

Meet Alex, a 24-year-old from South Tyrol, Laives, brimming with solutions and a listening ear for all. With an ever-present smile, he exudes positivity and warmth. For the past 11 years, Alex has been deeply immersed in kiteboarding, having inherited a love for wind-related sports from his father, who often took him windsurfing and sailing.

In 2020, Alex took the helm of Bee Kitesurfing School with a singular aim: to transform it into a resounding success. When not on the water, he's equally at home on the slopes, indulging in snowkiting, skiing, and ski touring. Snow, wind, and water hold a special place in his heart.

To recharge, Alex turns to jogging and meditation, finding strength and tranquility in these activities. Having ventured to spots like Brazil, Italy, Sri Lanka, and Cape Town, Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table.

His language skills extend to Italian, German, and English, facilitating seamless communication wherever his adventures take him.

Meet Louis, a 21-year-old from Munich whose kiteboarding journey began in the Western Sahara three years ago, propelling him into an unstoppable passion.

After completing his high school diploma, Louis dived headfirst into adventure as a kite instructor. Following an exhilarating six-month stint in Australia, he returned to Europe, settling at Lake Garda with Beekite, where his enthusiasm knows no bounds.

In his downtime, Louis finds joy in soccer and skiing, and he's no stranger to the vibrant atmosphere of our pontoon parties, where he's a favorite among many. With previous adventures in Italy, Morocco, Greece, Australia, and Brazil, Louis has cultivated a wealth of experiences.

Fluent in German, English, and with a knack for Italian, Louis's message to you is simple: "Keep Kiting."

Sebastian is born and lives in South Tyrol, Italy. He has been skiing and snowboarding since he remembers, but in the last 15 years his passion is snow-kitting. He snow-kites at every opportunity and those are plentiful on the Southern Alpes plateaus.  During the summer he is kitesurfing, rock-climbing and mountain biking. All those activities are just 10 min from his house and he is inviting you to show you around. Sebastian speaks  German, Italian, Portuguese and English.

Meet Mattia, a 26-year-old from South Tyrol, serving as an instructor with us. His kiteboarding journey began in 2015 at our home spot on Lake Garda, and since 2021, he's been sharing his expertise as a kite instructor.

Mattia's signature phrases, "Tooooooop" and "OK," reflect his upbeat attitude. With a keen eye for wind analysis honed since 2015, he's almost always spot-on about wind conditions—99.9% of the time, to be exact. Mattia's care extends beyond the water; he'll gladly sacrifice his comfort to ensure your well-being, even offering his jacket if you're feeling chilly on the boat.

In his downtime, Mattia finds joy in snowboarding, hiking, caring for his dog, and playing the saxophone. His wanderlust has taken him to spots like Lake Reschen, Sardinia, Sicily, Tuscany, and back to Lake Garda, enriching his experiences along the way.

Fluent in German, Italian, and English, Mattia ensures smooth communication wherever his adventures lead him.

Introducing Emil, a 30-year-old from South Tyrol, affectionately known as the "Pontonmeister." Emil has been immersed in kiteboarding since the age of 15, where he finds joy in soaring high and occasionally pulling off daring Double Kiteloops.

As the go-to guy on the pontoon, Emil ensures any kite line twists are promptly resolved. With a playful demeanor, an open ear, and boundless energy, Emil is always eager to try new things and engage with others.

Outside of kiteboarding, Emil's passions include traveling, mountain racing, ski touring, ice hockey, and mountain biking, where he also serves as an E-bike instructor.

With experiences spanning Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Italy, France, and Brazil, Emil has a diverse cultural background that enriches his interactions. Fluent in German, Italian, and English, Emil effortlessly connects with people from all walks of life during his adventures.
